Discusion

Superficial acral fibromyxoma is a rare, distinctive soft tissue benign neoplasm that has a particular tropism for the hands and feet of adult patients. With the exception of the rare presentation form on the palm of the hand, the acral fibromyxoma usually involves the fingers and toes. The big toe tends to be the most frequently affected site. We report two cases of superficial acral fibromyxomas, one male and one female patient, both in the fingers. We than proceed to discuss the differential diagnosis.
