EACCME: facing the COVID challenge and beyond
Although the UEMS Enlarged Executive Committee had hoped to be able to hold the 2021 edition of the conference live in Seville, it has considered the situation regarding COVID-19 very carefully and, while there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, have concluded that it is still too early to hold a live meeting in Seville on 12-13th March 2021. Travel is still very much restricted and vaccination programmes will take a few months to roll out to a point where our daily lives could slowly go back to normal. Moreover holding a meeting for 250-300 persons will not be allowed surely for the first half of 2021.
For these reasons the Executive Committee has decided the following:
- The 2-day live meeting will be replaced by a half day virtual meeting under the form of a webinar to be held on Friday 12th March 2021 (from 14.00 to 16.30 CET). The topic of the webinar will be EACCME: facing the COVID challenge and beyond. There will be a 50 € fee (VAT excl.) charged to attend this virtual event.
- The live meeting in Seville is postponed to 11-12th March 2022.
