Vacancy in the pathology department of the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels (starting October 2023 or January 2024) The following positions are open:

Adaptation in the repartition of those fields is possible. Pathologists will work closely with other colleagues involved in the same areas as well as with the clinical team. She/he will have the opportunity to be involved in ongoing research projects; there is also the possibility to start a research project in this field (PhD).

General presentation This university hospital department located in Brussels consists of 14 permanent senior pathologists and 8 residents in training. The department activity is organised in subspecialties; each pathologist is in charge of a specific subspecialty and participates in the activity of one other subspecialty to ensure continuity. The pathologist will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings of the correspondent fields. The opportunity to participate in the teaching of medical students can be offered. The department has a large immunohistochemistry portfolio with more than 200 antibodies and provides FISH/SISH analysis. We collaborate closely with the molecular biology platform for molecular tumour analysis (NGS, RNASeq, …). The activities of the department are accredited according to the ISO-15189 standard.
